John, you have spanned 3 generations in our house. It started with Whispering Jack on a 6 month round Australia family trip in the early 90's. It rekindled with a 2 week interstate family car trip in 2012 and it's continuing with the 3rd generation (aged 1 and 4) listening to Whispering Jack on repeat every time we are in the car and watching The Last Time way too much! There are toys being used as microphones and said toys being thrown, just like you tried to spin the mic stand during You're The Voice. There is a one year old saying "Farna, Farna" until we turn it on. And then "Voice, yay" when it starts. There is a Prep child writing in his school workbook that he watched you on the weekend and he has greatly improved him jumping skills while pretending to be you.
And also on this day there is boy, 4, who told his Mum he was going to grow a baby in his tummy. A change from being a teacher for these past few months. I'm starting to like the teacher one more and more right now! He rubbed his tummy "because this is how they get in there Mum" (phew!). After lunch he gave birth (thankfully not in the toilet like I thought he was going to do!) and I had to hold the new baby boy. He didn't have a name just yet, "because he was only just born". A couple of minutes later he had a name, our surname.
And now, I completely understand how Mum's do not survive the school holidays!
