This Weekend

Christmas morning breakfast.  Yum!

This weekend I will be breakfasting with:

• Two retirees (both with birthdays this month).
• Two little boys who are recently walking and are finding their voices.  They haven't seen each other for a little while and I can't wait to hear them chatter.
• Two sweet kids that started Prep in the past few days.
• One Mum that in the last 8 days has moved her family 1000km driving through and around flooded towns, visited her ailing Grandmother and found new schools for her school aged kids.  Before that she packed up her house in 1 week (that kind of stuff only happens to me in nightmares!).
• One man that is the love of my life.  He's busy.  Right now he's sleeping and I'm looking forward to guessing what he will have for brekky because I usually guess right, complete with coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice.
• One woman who is a Mum and an awesome pastry chef rolled into one.  We love her.
• One jack of all trades who has a heart beyond that of gold.
• One boy who has just started high school.  How that scares me so.
• And, myself.

In case you missed it, that's brekky for 10 plus 2 high chairs.  They are all family and I have not been this excited about getting together since, well, Christmas.  But that seems a long time ago with all that they have going on.  It's going to be awesome.
