I'm so incredibly tired but excited about what next weekend brings. We have a very busy week ahead that includes:
- grocery shopping (a big deal with two kids in tow) - completed in 2 stages on 19/12
- a day at a major shopping centre to find Kevin a gift (I always find him hard to buy for) - completed 20/12 and it was a MAJOR shopping centre - thanks Chermside!
- hopefully a little Mummy clothes shopping (my wardrobe is so thin I'm struggling to get through the week) - shopping for Kevin I found a dress (and no my hubby does not wear dresses!), on sale $70 and I love it. It will double as my Christmas day outfit - thank goodness for the green colour option!
- lots of gift wrapping - a couple more to go (24/12)
- helping out a couple of elves to make a little boy's Christmas wish come true - completed over 2 nights, finished 21/12
- lots of cleaning and tidying - half done as at 21/12
- bon bon making (this is my 4th year making them and it's a long process as I've developed them into a tradition that can not be altered!) - almost done, Kevin is going to help me assemble them right now (24/12)
- a visit to the fruit and vegetable market to get our fresh fruit for Christmas breakfast - done, by myself due to rain (24/12)
- a weighing of the youngest member of our family who is so low on the charts that he doesn't even register for a percentile! He's short and chubby though so the Doctor isn't too worried. We will continue operation "put some weight on him" this week. That includes returning to expressing (every now and then) and shoving solids into him even though he still won't open his mouth properly. At least we have progressed to sucking the food down! - see this post
- dreaming about getting my haircut (that was on the list but have had to scrap it as it just wont happen)
good hunting Chook
