We were so excited this year to finally start buying some furniture for our house. We have lived in our new house for 10 months now and still have boxes we haven't unpacked. Half of that is due to slackness but the most part is due to not having some where to put things. In the last couple of months we have bought a huge wall unit (unfortunately it's Ikea but no one seems to make good versatile somewhat affordable furniture around here!), a huge entertainment unit, and a bedroom suite.

It has been really hard for us to come home to a place that doesn't feel like a home yet, so you can understand how excited we are to know that it's finally starting to happen. We are still jealous of all the lovely homes and interior decorations that most people have but we are happy we have done what is right for us.
Next up is the family room and some much needed pictures on the walls. A garage sale may even be on the cards....yikes!
Love the bedroom set... and the colours in the room!!! A huge difference from before but still there is something missing... where are the pictures??? I guess we'll have to send you some of Peyton lol. Don't forget to check out our site... Jeremy posted some very cute video's of her ;).Crystal & Cassidy just had their son on Tuesday, his name is Gavyn and he is beautiful!!!!! You can get to their site from ours... if you wanted to see him... and they have updated pics on facebook. Just think, you're next (yeah). We can't wait to see pics of the little guy/girl.

ReplyDeleteYes, there is still a lot missing from the room like pictures, plants, decorations and probably curtains. We are starting with the big stuff that we wont be able to buy when the little baby comes.
I will be sure to check out the videos on your site and I've been checking Crystal and Cassidy's site too for updates. I'm the last one with the baby bump, but not long now.
